Christ’s Perfection

Christ was perfect in all He was, in all He said, in all He did, and in all His life.

I. There was no rift in the fabric of His character, for He did always the things which were pleasing to His Father (Matt. 3:17).

II. There was no flaw in the devotion of His life, for He knew no sin (2 Cor. 5:21).

III. There was no fault in the consecration of His service, for He finished the work given Him to do (John 17:4).

IV. There was no stain in the texture of His nature, for He was without sin (I John 3:5).

V. There was no alloy in the gold of His holiness, for He was the Holy One of God (Mark 1:24).

VI. There was no spot in the sun of His love, for He did no sin (I Peter 2:22).

VII. There was no lack in the obedience of His love, for He was faithful to death (Phil. 2:8).
