While the Founders Gently Weep

indoctrination

Aaron Harvey is a father in Florida, and this man is not happy. He’s unhappy because his wife found a piece of paper in their son’s school backpack. On the paper were the following words written in crayon by his fourth grade son:

I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure.

It turns out the child had a Constitutional lesson one day in class, a lesson given by an attorney. After the attorney left, the class teacher, Cheryl Sabb dictated the sentence to the class and had them copy it down. The paper apparently had been in the backpack for months, until Mama found it.

Harvey:

I believe in our Constitution. I am a veteran, I served for six-and-a-half years proudly and I served to protect our rights,” he said. “Now whenever I have someone coming in and trying to pollute my child’s mind with biased opinions…there’s no education in that.

The school, of course, is defending Sabb, denying she had any involvement. What is even more astounding is that the school claims the boy wrote the words “of his own free will.” Problem is, every child in the class who has been asked, is pointing to ‘teacher’.

The only way to avoid having children indoctrinated with such socialist brainwashing, is, of course, to yank them out of public education altogether, and homeschool them.

I know, I know, I’m a broken record. So be it.
