Thank you Mr. Johnson for this video. I see a disturbing trend in large churches where the ignorance of theology is celebrated and those that pursue theology, whether to become ministers or as lay persons that want a deeper understanding of the work of Christ, are treated with suspicion or worse, mocked as being divisive or troublesome. We see though that the ignorance of theology and of church tradition in high places and positions in the church has disastrous affects for everyone involved. I would that all churches required their members to continually educate themselves in theology and possibly even learn a Biblical language. I know this isn’t practical at all but people need to be informed, especially since the intellectual attacks on our faith are becoming increasingly vicious.
