I lived for 5 years in Germany. Though my German is a little rusty, I find this to be a spectacular word for word translation! Except where HItler is recorded as saying “Don’t get me saucy with me you bean counter.” This is better translated, “Who do you think you are bean breath, Joel Taylor?”
Yep, that’s how I understood it.
Thankfully the church is bigger that Phil Johnson , and as for the hole in the net , no doubt some one without pastoral experience or seminary training will fill the void.
