We started ‘the fire’ when we, in Adam, our federal head, sinned against God. Since that very moment, every human has been conceived and born in sin. So, it’s not surprising, is it, that in all of history’s sinful activity by mankind, even those things we deem enjoyable, are yet sinful, apart from Christ.
