I couldn’t stand it any longer.
Hop Sing deserves to be recognize as one of the finest actors on the Ponderosa. There’s no arguing here. Keep your contrarian arguments to yourself.

When the congregation sings that which glorifies God, we are worshiping. When we sit and listen to others sing or play on an instrument, we are being entertained. It may be great entertainment, it may even be great Christian entertainment, and entertaining the congregation may not be the goal of the dear brothers and sisters doing it. They may be wonderful Christians with the best of intentions but make no mistake; entertainment it is.
My uncle played college ball with Dan Blocker. True story.
Wow….that’s neat!
The mind is funny thing – when I first saw the feed for this post, I thought you were making another post on hip-hop! When I watched the video, it dawned on me you are indeed wrong about Hop Sing: he was not “one of the finest actors on the Ponderosa” as you claim; he was THE finest actor on the Ponderosa.
I hope you can tolerate my contrarian argument
