On David’s Throne
Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. – Acts 2:30, 31 (ESV)
If Jesus Christ is not sitting on David‘s throne as sworn by God Himself with an oath, then He is not King of anything, period. Acts 2:30, 31
And if He is not sitting on David’s throne, you have no king at all.
Could it be you never wanted one in the first place?
This is not a secondary issue.
