That’s one of the biggest rubbish piles I’ve come across in a while, from one who is not from the Word of faith crowd.
Agreed.
“People who do not go to church go to hell. Shocking statement? Unquestionably! But can it be proven? Only to those who believe the Bible to be the authoritative Word of God.”
Lets see, make a statement, with your own obvious answer, split the options into enlightened and ignorant, then make your case.
I don’t think so. I have heard cases made for and against whether one has to go to church, convincingly in both directions. Usually it is in the context of “I can’t find a bible believing, teaching church” issue.
The authors language and use of scripture might be convincing if it were aimed at the unsaved and unregenerate. But to judge that the regenerate are going to hell is astounding. I don’t believe he made his case rightly discerning the word of God, and he himself is in danger of wrongly judging.
It is well written, but as another has said, “rubbish”.
