Excellent! I compare the people who conduct ‘worship’ by doing what THEY desire in the name of religion to the folks to whom Jesus referred when He said, “… they have their reward” when He contrasted proper behavior vs. self-pious behavior (Matt 6).
Isn’t it the tragedy that, with all the so called worship, that God isn’t in it?
Has anyone noticed how the Emergent and Culture-driven churches who host conferences feature businessmen and women as much or more than spiritual teachers? And the spiritual teachers are usually if not totally of dubious pedigree.
Why is that? (rhetorical)
