President, Congress & Families Exempt From Obamacare?
Surprise! Guess who will not be required to live under the new socialist healthcare bill recently passed and signed into law?
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the President, Congress and their respective families as well as the rest of the scoundrels who wrote the bill in the first place. After all the debate and pushing of this healthcare bill ‘for the good of the people’, the Democratic party leadership has the audacity to exempt itself from its own socialist medicine. Not surprisingly, they added these bill loopholes behind closed doors.
I guess the law is good for us, but not good enough for the President, his family and Congress. This is elitism at its finest.

Fredrik Hayek (IIRC) said the one requirement he would impose on this country if he were king would be for every law to apply to everyone equally. It’s not only that the rulers exempt themselves (which is extremely telling), it’s that the rulers codify special deals for some at the expense of others as a matter of routine.
Most extreme Republicans today are unaware of the many forms of ‘socialism’ that exist and use the word in a disparaging manner. America’s Representative and Democratic form of government is a form of socialism as are all forms of democracies, and is seen in the way we fund our schools, transportation systems, national defense and many other governmental services we depend upon and use every day. If one wishes to build or preserve credibility, it is essential to, instead of attempting to appeal to the most naive, gullible and ignorant among us that instead, one speak in terms that attract the most learned amongst us.
