I am all for Christians being involved in politics. I have never been shy regarding that. Nor have I been shy in stating that Islam is an evil, violent religion…it is. However, we must never forget that the Gospel is the power of God. Not morality, not political activity, not community service, nothing….nothing but the Gospel. – JT
“ACT! for America debuts its promotional video originally shown at its June 2009 Congressional Briefing in Washington DC. The event was attended by 13 Senators and Congressmen who briefed ACT’s Chapter Leaders, major donors and leading business people from around the country. Since the production of this video, ACT has grown to 80,000 members and 365 ACT! Chapters nationwide.”
Mrs. Gabriel’s assertion that she was born into the Christian faith demonstrates a misunderstanding of salvation. The woman who claimed it was God’s mission for her to repel Islam and keep the US of A safe belongs to a Word of Faith dominionist group, whether she realizes it or not.
Having said that, I am in agreement with their political agenda. But I would not associate it with my faith in Christ or His mission on planet Earth. As a citizen of a once great country, I believe it’s past time to forbid male Muslims from entering our country unless they credibly repudiate their faith, as Islam is more of a threat to our country than Communism was.
But none of that political stuff should detract from our efforts to procalim the Gospel to Muslims and confused Americans.
Very well said! Agreed, still, I support the sentiment… – JT
I would like to add to Manfred’s post… well, uh, … no, he said that. How about, …uh, no, he said that too… Well said, Manfred!
Many thanks, JT & truthinator. We stand together for the King of kings and for our God-given rights in this deteriorating country.
