A Danish newspaper editorial has declared U.S. President Barack Obama as “the practical savior of our times.” They didn’t stop there however, going on to state:
“Obama is, of course, greater than Jesus – if we have to play that absurd Christmas game. But it is probably more meaningful to insist that with today’s domestic triumph, that he has already assured himself a place in the history books – a space he has good chances of expanding considerably in coming years.
Without, however, ever attaining the heavens….”
The editorial is not surprisingly similar to many of the U.S. newspapers that promoted the blasphemous messianic imagery of Obama during his presidential election campaign.
In reference to the comparison of Jesus to Obama, the editorial notes:
If such a comparison were to be made, it would, of course, inevitably be to Obama’s advantage.
The column goes on to say:
we have Jesus’ miracles that everyone still remembers, but which only benefitted a few. At the same time, we have the wonderful parables about his life and deeds that we know from the New Testament, but which have been interpreted so differently over the past 2000 years that it is impossible to give an unequivocal result of his work.

Worldnetdaily covered the story and takes a look at the U.S. media’s messianic treatment of Obama.
Well sir, that was incredibly depressing. Not surprising, but depressing.
Humanism was how Obama got his popularity. He appealed to the wants of sinful and depraved men. He is the ideal Savior for a man who refuses to acknowledge the reality of the sovereignty of God and their need of salvation. Sinful fleshly fulfillment. Not surprised nor depressed, for I know who God is, and I have confidence to know whether good or bad, God is in control.
Europe looks like the eastern and northern mid-west parts of the USA. We are fools if we think this is a Christian country – most folks are blind to Truth and have been inoculated against it by half truth preaching that takes place in many churches.
Ugh, I feel nauseous.
