There’s a storm brewing. A snow storm. A big one apparently.
We’re expecting roughly 12 to 18 inches here in this part of Virginia. Here’s a snap shortly after it began snowing here around noon. I’ll update this tomorrow, just for giggles.

Well, it’s the day after. We ended up getting around 16 inches. Anyone have a world-class recipe for snow ice-cream?

I lived on Ft Belvoir during the winter of ’82 – ’83. We had a home down near the river. I woke up to snow one morning, drove my VW bug up the hill to the Army school. Snow kept falling. They released us at noon. My bug had a hard time making it down the hill, the snow was about 8 inches deep on the road. It snowed all evening and all night. We had about 14 inches the next morning and I had to clear a path to a tree in the back yard so our puppy could “go”.
