5ptsalt.com recently posted an audio portion of Paul Edwards interview with John MacArthur, where MacArthur clearly says what many have believed, yet perhaps were hesitant to say. Well, MacArthur said it. In that clip, MacArthur states that Obama is a non-christian with no interests in Christ, God or the Bible…and much more.
Since that posting, some have questioned the authenticity of the recording. However, as you’ll see below, it is indeed the ‘real deal.’ In the following you will find the entire interview by Paul Edwards of John MacArthur.

He also discusses the KJV Only controversy and gives his
reasonings on why he uses the ESV, which he calls the ‘clearest,
finest translation from the original.’
Paul Edwards warns, insists that if we as Christians are going to
be faithful to the Word of God must confront President Obama’s
immorality. He discusses the hang-ups and uneasiness many
Christians have when Obama’s name is mentioned on the program.
“I’m opposed to the man’s immorality….The man at the Human
Rights Campaign laid all the cards out on the table my friend and
John MacArthur is absolutely right when he says the President is
not a Christian. He refuses to put himself under the authority of
a church, he refuses to put himself under the authority of the
Word of God. When he said what he said at the [HRC] Saturday
night…He’s making a prophecy and a prediction that there will
come a time in the United States of America when the relationship
between two men or two women are just as admired as a
relationship between a man and a woman, MacArthur is absolutely
right, he is anti-Bible. He is anti-God”…The President is anti
-Christ, he’s not the anti-Christ, he is anti-Christ, he is going
against the Word of God. He is fundamentally altering the moral
foundation of this nation. And if you are a true follower of
Jesus Christ, you have got to confront that. You cannot sit idly
by and say, “Well, you know, for whatever reason, because I like
him, because I voted for him, because he’s the same color I am,
beccause he’s the first black president, because he won the Nobel
peace Prize, because of whatever….You can respect the office of
president, but when the President of the United States makes it
clear that he wants to fundamentally redefine the moral structure
of this country, Christians must rise up en masse and take him on
with the Word of God and say, “Mr. President, if you believe this
Bible, if you truly do believe yourself to be a follower of Jesus
Christ, how can you go against the clear teaching of Jesus Christ
in Matthew 19, when Jesus Christ sanctioned marriage as between
one man and one woman? How can you do it? This is exactly what
the President did…to loud applause, sin fully on display out of
the mouth of the President of the United States.”

John MacArthur & Pretrib Rapture
Who knows, maybe John (Reformedispy) MacArthur is right and the greatest Greek scholars (Google “Famous Rapture Watchers”), who uniformly said that Rev. 3:10 means PRESERVATION THROUGH, were wrong. But John has a conflict. On the one hand, since he knows that all Christian theology and organized churches before 1830 believed the church would be on earth during the tribulation, he would like to be seen as one who stands with the great Reformers. On the other hand, if John has a warehouse of unsold pretrib rapture material, and if he wants to have “security” for his retirement years and hopes that the big California quake won’t louse up his plans, he has a decided conflict of interest. Maybe the Lord will have to help strip off the layers of his seared conscience which have grown for years in order to please his parents and his supporters – who knows? One thing is for sure: pretrib is truly a house of cards and is so fragile that if a person removes just one card from the TOP of the pile, the whole thing can collapse. Which is why pretrib teachers don’t dare to even suggest they could be wrong on even one little subpoint! Don’t you feel sorry for the straitjacket they are in? While you’re mulling all this over, Google “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty” for a rare behind-the-scenes look at the same 180-year-old fantasy.

Of course, being an Amillennialist, I would disagree with that.
Someone check Laura’s “facts”. She is beating a drum but I do not think she is well-informed. Also, assalting MacArthur’s character is out of bounds. Of course if the man believes his own knowledge and research he will want to get the information to others…I do not see why someone needs to accuse him of trying to sell a wareouse full of pretrib material.
Now, back to the “facts”. In Rev 3:10, Tereo Ek means ‘out from’ not ‘kept through’. Also, Where is the evidence that John saw the Church being kept through the trib? I don’t see it either. Another thing, does God rapture the Church at the end just to have them come back with Jesus to conquer the world? No, I do not think so either.
From the way scripture reads, God takes the Church at the beginning of the trib though this is more implied than stated. The Church’s absence from the details that John witnessed is evidence of their prior removal.
I do not believe that most canonical theologians believed the Church would be on earth during the trib. Can someone enlighten us about this? Thanks.
