There are many today who have this false view that Jesus was always peaceful, passive, and never confrontational when it comes to false teaching. If you happen to hold such a view, think again – while reading the Scriptures.

Jesus was not always ‘nice’, and you shouldn’t be either. It is absurd to think that a true Christian can ‘appreciate the heart’ of one who rejects the penal substitution of Jesus Christ isn’t it? We need to start calling a spade a spade, a rebel against God simply that, a rebel, and stop being politically correct in the name of being ‘missional’. Of course, when you call that rebel a rebel, do it keeping in mind the grace shown to yourself, do it in love, and with the prayer that God would be merciful on his or her soul.
