Great post! It's always refreshing to hear the Truth :) True saints can't put up with the "sacred cow" for long. They know they must sacrifice that deadly thing or remain plugged-in to the lie. Easier said than done for some, but always worth it!

I have said, for years, that the way we "do" church is an obstacle to true growth and spiritual maturity - and gotten a few scars from the stones that have been thrown as a result of voicing my opinions on the subject (you know what they say about sacred cows). After years of banging our heads against the walls of the building-mentality, we finally moved from the traditional to the "house congregation" model. We've done away with pulpits and pews. Teaching is done in a guided dialog style and everyone is an active participant in both worship AND ministry outside of the "gathering of the saints."It's a beautiful thing when the body actually functions as a body.
