God is good, always.
When I started ‘blogging’, I was told to always post ‘meaningful content.’ Depending on who you’re talking to, that may mean something different than your own ideas. Well, we’re all human, and what’s meaningful to me may not be to all my readers…totally understandable.
This morning I had to bury our cat, “Barkley”. To my family, it’s meaningful. No matter how you view pets, they have a way of becoming part of the family, and Barkley, after almost 10 years, was definitely a member of our family. It’s no surprise then that it almost breaks my heart that he’s gone. It was a lot tougher to bury “biggun” than I imagined. We were blessed with his company in many, many ways, and he brought a lot of joy to our home.
Two days ago a neighbor brought a 5 week old kitten to our door, and asked if we’d give it a home; we were smitten with the kitten, now named ‘Palin.’
Interesting how this has worked out isn’t it?
Like I said, God is good, always.
Goodbye Barkley, we loved you very much.

I know what you are going through. I had to bury my baby some weeks ago, and it just about killed me. I miss her madly.
