Mikaeel Jackson: A Sobering Reminder of Damnation

With the recent death of ‘Michael’ Jackson, I’d like to remind all of the ‘Christian’ bloggers out there who are thanking him and speaking of the ‘joy’ that he brought to be cautious.

First of all, joy according to the world is not true joy, but only as the world defines it. The world also has a love, and a happiness, and a peace, yet those truly in Christ will have nothing to do with such deceptions.

One Christian blogger actually thanked Michael for ‘helping him becoming a Christian full-on’. I truly hope not. This particular blogger went on to describe God as having spoken to him “through the gifted vocals and the weird words to do what he [Michael] does? Thanks Michael.”

“Frightening” is the only word I have to describe such a statement by a professing Christian.

Folks, God does not speak through cultural icons who convert to Islam. Satan does. The God of the Scriptures has spoken once in these last days “by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds”.

If you are a professing Christian, and a blogger, I implore you to stop this exaltation of an enemy of God. Was Jackson gifted? Certainly, and his gifts were a grace of God, but not grace unto salvation according to Michael’s own profession.

It is a sobering thought, one we should all pause and contemplate, that Michael Jackson, adored by the world, may now be suffering the eternal wrath of Almighty God.

This is so true. I would say to be careful of anyone or anything the world embraces, it usually is not true christianity.

  2. Thank you for speaking the truth.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It takes grace and determination these days to speak up and state the truth when truth is so very unpopular.

wow do all christian people want everyone to burn in hell? clearly you dont know his life or final hours so we don’t know where he is…and a true christian wouldn’t make the judgement.

Thanks, Joel, for speaking the truth. According to scripure, nothing embraced by the world will find favor in God’s sight. I was really amazed at the ‘Christians’ that we fawning over MJ after his death. I particularly found it troublesome that someone said MJ increased their Christian experience… :-( ) (shock)
