“Americans, so keen on discovering their roots, have nevertheless cut themselves off from their Christian roots. The resulting fruit is withered and rotten. America is still number one, but unfortunately she is number one in homosexuality, feminism, divorce, the destruction of family values, abortion, political correctness, and the occult humanistic spirituality of new Age religion. With leadership like this, the New Age is most likely to become the dominant global religion of the twenty-first century. It would seem that my friend John [Lennon] was quite a New Age prophet. The hit song “Imagine” says it all. There Lennon asks us to imagine: no heaven…no hell…no countries…no possessions…no greed…no hunger…no religion.
In this New Age of Aquarius, where there is neither good nor evil, the ultimate liberation of mankind will finally be realized – liberation from ethics, from guilt, from sexual norms, and from God. Only one religious option will not be allowed to live life in peace, namely, biblical Christianity.
Christians too should begin to imagine – imagine realistically what this one world could look like without the preserving effect of a strong Christian church. Based on the Church’s past experience with Gnosticism, Christians can take stock of the threat posed by the New Age. to be forewarned is to be forearmed.” – Peter Jones
